New Melones
Kokanee fishing was good this week. However, we had to work hard for quality fish. The 15 to 16 1/2 inch Koks are on structure, but difficult to find. They're holding 60 to 70 feet deep over water 90 to 100 feet deep, near rocky shore lines. The spillway, near the damn, and south island we found fish. Mid morning to early afternoon seems to be the best time for the bite. Uncle Larry's pink Spinners, pink R&K Hoochies with Vance's nickel, and copper pink Dodgers has been working. Pro Cures Anis Plus, Garlic Herring combo and Anis Krill Oil is our corn mixtures. Try adding several corn kernels to your hooks, we are seeing better result on bigger fish.

Bruce Hamby's boat will fish four (4) people comfortably. However, arrangements can be made with other guides to help with large parties.
Disabled?

No problem!
Bruce's boat is designed so two back seats can be removed, giving a person in a wheelchair plenty of room to move about and making it easy to land that trophy fish!
