After contacting Bruce, he will discuss with you what lakes you want to fish, the type of fish you want to catch, the date of the trip, and the time you want to depart!
If you're not sure which lake you want to fish, Bruce can advise you on which lakes are doing the best at the time of booking!
After arriving, it's on! A full day of fishing on one of Northern California's beautiful lakes for quality fish like Rainbow and German Brown Trout, Kokanee, Striper, and King Salmon. Lake choices include Don Pedro, Lake Camanche, Lake McClure, New Hogan, and Melones.
Clients fish all day, until you catch your limit, or until everyone agrees it's time to call it quits.
Supplies
You need to bring:
- Ice chest for your drinks and snacks
- Ice chest for your fish
- Proper clothing (always be prepared for weather, hot and cold)
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Camera and plenty of film (or if you have a digital camer, plenty of memory)
- Meals, snacks and drinks for the boat
- Valid California fishing license
Group Trips
Bruce Hamby's boat will fish four (4) people comfortably. However, arrangements can be made with other guides to help with large parties.
Disabled?
No problem!
Bruce's boat is designed so two back seats can be removed, giving a person in a wheelchair plenty of room to move about and making it easy to land that trophy fish!
