Out scouting today with my daughter and my father in law for Monday's clients at New Melones. Took a while but found the Kokanee up to 14" long. We then switched over to trout and landed 3 fish up to 5lbs. My daughter got to reel them all in which was awesome to watch especially the 5 pounder.

Went out on a recon mission for some future clients at Lake Pardee today. The action was hot right out of the gate until about 10:00am it slowed down. Caught 7 Kokanee, released a few smaller ones and lost a few. In the meantime of all this the rainbows were hitting as well. Largest trout weighing in at 3 1/2lbs. Definitely a fisherman's lake.

Daughter/daddy day. This is all we got, but she did an awesome job reeling this little tough guy in. Discouraging day fishing but a great day with my daughter.👍

We've been out catching some big beautiful trout on New Melones the past couple weeks. Fish are weighing from 3 to 8lbs.
