Hot Kokanee Bite

The last week and a half has produced a great kokanee bite at New Melones. I put three groups of guys on the fish with plenty of action. Kokanee can be a frustrating fish to catch with their soft mouths, but with the amount of fish that are in the lake the odds of landing what you want are pretty good. there is also the possibility to catch a nice trout.
